The master blade of the American Ace has “World War II American Ace” etched on it with the image of a P-51 Mustang fighter-bomber. The spey blade etch reads “Dominate the Sky” and has the Air Force Insignia on either side of the text. The master blade of the American Hero has “American Hero” etched in cursive. The spey blade etch reads “Standing Guard Since 1776.” Each blade opens with a match strike pull. Unlike a standard nail nick or long pull, a match strike pull has serrations inside the groove of the pull. These serrations allow you to strike a match with your knife. The blades use non-locking slip joints found in traditional pocket knives, and have half stops for added safety.
