Rough Ryder’s “Bolster Stripes” Cub Lockback is a beautiful pocket knife with peach seed jigged bone handles. The dark brown of the bone of the handles gives the knife a warm color that contrasts with the nickel silver bolsters, pins, and Rough Ryder shield.

The “Bolster Stripes” Cub Lockback has a single mirror polished 440A stainless steel spear point blade. The blade has a “Rough Ryder” etching. The bolsters have a ridged striped design, which gives the knife a more elegant appearance. Combined with the bone handles and the nickel silver shield, this knife is a classic example of a traditional pocket knife. The blade opens with a match strike pull. Unlike a standard nail nick or long pull, a match strike pull has serrations inside the groove of the pull. These serrations allow you to strike a match with your knife.

This knife is a lockback, and as the name suggests, it locks in the open position. The blade is closed by releasing the lock on the back spacer of the knife. This knife features a wide spear point blade, which is perfect for piercing or slicing tasks. The lowered point of the blade is controllable and useful for fine tip work.

The “Bolster Stripes” Cub Lockback is a perfect knife for a collector, or for use as an everyday carry. The deep brown bone handle and nickel silver fittings give the knife an elegant and refined look. Despite its good looks, this knife is still reliable and durable enough for everyday carry and use.
